Sourcing Manager Latin America and Caribbean Shared Services Visa Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Job Description The Manager of the Latin America and Caribbean Shared Services leads by example, ensuring the company sources quality and affordable products and services in a timely manner. As a key team member of the Sourcing Shared Services team you are responsible for supporting business partners through the procurement of goods and services for facilities, human resources, marketing, technology and professional services. The Manager will have accountability to delivery against department and functional goals. You will need a strong sense of urgency and the ability to succinctly frame issues and alternatives to drive decisions forward. Key Responsibilities include: Liaising with business units to determine their product and service needs. Performing all procurement activities including prequalification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and proposal management. Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and negotiating amendments as needed to remain compliant with corporate policies. Leading and mentoring a team by delegating tasks and supervising the work of other Purchasing analysts within your category. Identifying areas for process improvement to continually drive performance and business results. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast-paced and demanding. Must be self-directed with excellent initiative and organizational skills. Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive, and energy.Works well under stress with the ability to deliver on time. Develops strong relationships with business stakeholders and supply partners to improve business. Ensures policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation are followed within the category. Communicates effectively, frequently listens carefully, and actively seeks and values the perspectives of others. Supports the implementation of Global Sourcing policies and procedures. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD. Portuguese language fluency. Spanish and English language fluency. Preferred Qualifications 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD. Bachelors Degree preferred. Professional accreditation in sourcing or procurement as a plus. 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience as a sourcing and/or procurement professional preferably with a major financial institution or payment card company. Extensive experience with contract negotiations and drafting such as Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, SaaS and Software License Agreements. Ability to identify contractual risks, rights and obligations. In-depth understanding of Procurement policies and procedures and their application to the processing of transactions, such as processing purchase requisitions, processing purchase orders, modifying purchase orders, executing bidding for transactions, and executing RFPs as required. Multitasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate at all levels of management. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills where you leverage Power BI, Excel, Tableau tools. Exceptional talent in negotiating and networking. Proficiency in purchasing systems and organizational interfaces such as Ariba, S2C, and P2P. Visa is an EEO Employer.
