For more information, visit Role Summary: We are seeking a talented Laravel / Vue Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern web applications that power ACTO’s Intelligent Field Excellence platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver high-quality features, ensure performance and scalability, and build a seamless user experience across our applications. An important part of this role is contributing to ACTO’s AI-powered solutions, including integrating with large language model APIs and AWS Bedrock to bring intelligent experiences into our products. In this role, you will be responsible for: Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable web applications using Laravel (backend) and Vue.js (frontend). Building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third‑party AI services (e.g., AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic). Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices. Developing responsive, intuitive user interfaces with Vue.js, Vuex (state management), and modern component libraries. Working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization. Implementing features that leverage generative AI to enhance user experiences. Ensuring code quality through automated testing and peer reviews. Collaborating in Agile development cycles with cross‑functional teams. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: 4+ years of professional experience in full‑stack web development. Strong expertise with Laravel (or another modern PHP framework) and Vue.js. Experience working with AI and cloud‑based AI services such as AWS Bedrock. Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation. Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization. Familiarity with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Good verbal and written communication in English. Bonus points if you have: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools. Knowledge of AWS services beyond Bedrock (e.g., S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda). Familiarity with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Pest, or Jest. Previous experience in the Life Sciences or healthcare technology sector. Exposure to startup or high‑growth SaaS environments.
