We’re looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer with deep expertise in mobile app development , leadership experience, and the ability to innovate in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Do Develop Mobile Solutions – Implement and release Android and iOS applications —hybrid (ideally in React Native or React with Capacitor )—that meet and exceed client expectations. Lead & Mentor – Manage and grow a team of 3+ engineers , providing technical guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with product, design, and operations to define requirements, set priorities, and drive projects through to successful delivery. Technical Roadmap Ownership – Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and innovation in our mobile solutions, owning them from architecture to deployment. Champion Best Practices – Promote high standards for code quality, development processes, and operational excellence. CI/CD & Infrastructure Insight – While not a DevOps role, you should be comfortable consuming or creating CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployments and have foundational knowledge of cloud infrastructure. Scalable Production Systems – Ensure applications are production‑grade , stable, and efficient, leveraging cloud services and modern architectures to meet growing user demands. What You Bring 6+ years of hands‑on experience building and leading the development of production applications at scale . Proven track record of leading remote teams , managing a minimum of 3 direct reports in a fast‑paced environment. Real‑world mobile application development experience (native or hybrid), with React Native or React + Capacitor strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile and infrastructure deployments (without necessarily functioning as a DevOps engineer). Expertise in Azure Cloud (experience with AWS or GCP also acceptable). Experience building and implementing microservice architectures for highly scalable, distributed systems. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills , with a proactive approach to problem‑solving. Proficiency in Agile methodologies and a commitment to fostering a collaborative, inclusive team environment. Bonus Points for Experience Using Kubernetes and container orchestration. Azure DevOps experience. Managing and optimizing the entire software development lifecycle across complex projects. Adept in working with Nix* (Unix/Linux) for development and production.
