Summary Life Sciences Group at GBA is welcoming entry level engineers in Lenexa, KS. Life Sciences Life Sciences serves many of the world's top 20 bio-pharma companies. Our Life Science group is a collaborative team of engineers and architects focused on the design of mechanical and electrical systems within the bio-pharma industry. Life Sciences offers the opportunity to work within an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, project managers, and construction managers. What You’ll Do Design various electrical systems such as lighting, power, and low-voltage specialty systems. Prepare construction documents for various electrical systems Review of shop drawings and RFIs Verification of permitting and code requirements Assist with facility evaluation and engineering studies Assist with troubleshooting and commissioning Other fun duties as assigned What You’ll Bring BS in Architectural or Electrical Engineering 0–2 years of experience Adept at working on fast-paced projects Seeking a collaborative team environment to work in our multi-disciplined office environment Technical Skills & Abilities Must be proficient in AutoCAD REVIT experience is a plus Strong communication skills, both oral and written Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk around the office for extended periods Ability to lift up to 10 pounds Travel Less than 10% travel to site for site visits. $74,000 to $80,000 based on location and experience level.
