What we’re looking for: First + foremost: This person must be located in Colombia, be fluent in English at a level C1 or higher, and be comfortable working a remote position with high communication expectations Must be able to work 9:00a - 5:00p (Central Standard Time) Can commit to this position being your only full-time employment Have a four-year degree (any major) At least one year of SEO experience Have an analytical mind and enjoy working with numbers and interpreting data Previous professional working experience, especially with an agency, is a bonus but not a requirement Be passionate about our Core Values (listed below) and display those in your everyday work SCRAPPY: We’re always looking for more efficient ways to do things. What you’ll be doing: Perform keyword research Setup content calendars Perform status checks on SEO accounts Perform content optimization Create internal linking Complete technical tasks assigned by SEO Strategists Work closely with our in-house SEO Strategists to understand account performance Participate in daily stand-up meetings to show progress on your work as well as Monday morning team L10 meetings and weekly one‑on‑ones with your direct supervisor (with your camera on) Track your work and deadlines in Monday.com and communicate in Slack This is a remote independent contractor position with a U.S.-based digital marketing agency that values team culture and well‑being. The salary for this role is $15,000 USD annually (approximately $60,860,988.00 COP). All roles at Hook Agency, both regular and contract, are subject to a 30‑day probationary period.
