Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer to design, build, and evolve robust web applications using Laravel and its native ecosystem , deployed in an AWS-based environment . This role is hands‑on and senior by nature, requiring end‑to‑end ownership across backend, frontend, and data layers. The ideal candidate has strong experience with server‑driven UIs , RESTful APIs , and data modeling in MySQL , and is comfortable making architectural decisions that balance scalability, maintainability, and delivery speed. You will work closely with Product, Design, and DevOps teams, contributing directly to business‑critical systems in a regulated fintech environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack Laravel applications Build and evolve RESTful APIs and backend business logic Develop frontend features using Blade, Livewire, Alpine.js, and Jetstream Design, own, and evolve MySQL data models and schemas Ensure data integrity, performance, and long‑term maintainability Implement authentication and authorization using Laravel Fortify Manage frontend assets and build processes using Vite Package and run applications using Docker Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps teams Review code, mentor team members, and promote best practices Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmap Required Skills & Experience Laravel & Backend: Strong production experience with Laravel Deep knowledge of Livewire, Jetstream, Fortify, and Blade Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and security Experience with queues, background jobs, caching, and scheduling Frontend (Laravel‑Oriented Full Stack): Strong experience building server‑driven UIs using Blade, Livewire, and Alpine.js Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Experience managing frontend tooling and assets with Vite Focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainable UI code Data Modeling & Databases (Mandatory): Strong expertise in data modeling Proven experience designing schemas for complex business domains Advanced knowledge of MySQL Strong SQL skills (indexes, query optimization, transactions) Experience managing migrations and long‑term schema evolution Clear understanding of data integrity and consistency guarantees Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience working in an AWS environment Ability to deploy and operate Laravel applications in production Solid experience with Docker (local and production setups) Understanding of environment configuration, secrets, and logging Engineering Practices: Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Strong testing mindset (unit, feature, integration) Ability to work autonomously on complex systems Nice to Have: Experience with Laravel monoliths or modular architectures Familiarity with DDD‑inspired design in Laravel Experience working in high‑availability or business‑critical systems Prior mentoring or senior IC experience What We Value Strong ownership across the full stack High attention to data quality and modeling Preference for Laravel‑native solutions Pragmatic, maintainable engineering Clear communication and collaboration Professional Profile 7+ years of professional experience as a full‑stack or backend‑oriented software engineer, with at least 4+ years working extensively with Laravel in production Proven experience working in startup and scale‑up environments, preferably in fast‑paced, agile teams Strong background delivering end‑to‑end features in iterative, product‑driven development cycles Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements, evolving business needs, and short feedback loops Experience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and DevOps in agile or Scrum‑like environments Hands‑on senior individual contributor with strong ownership, accountability, and technical judgment If you’re driven by innovation and want to be part of the financial transformation of the future, join us.
