Job Title: IT Service Desk Agent Location: Barranquilla, Colombia Employment Type: Permanent About the Role We are looking for a dedicated and resourceful IT Service Desk Agent to join our client's team in the tech industry. In this role, you will contribute to providing first-line service desk support, managing hardware and software issues, and ensuring a high level of service to our client's employees. Responsibilities Analyze and resolve customer issues and requests received through tickets and various channels. Perform installation, maintenance, and management of the organization's workstations/PCs and peripheral equipment. Maintain SaaS/systems access, updates, and installation. Monitor and ensure compliance with security requirements across company offices, assets, and systems. Participate in company meetings and training sessions. Adhere to clients' policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Utilize procedural, informational, and technical documentation effectively. Capture detailed information of issues for ticket resolution and escalation. Consolidate basic support information into ticket notes. Perform other duties, including after-hours on-call, as assigned. Requirements Experience with ticket logging systems. Proficient troubleshooting skills for PC hardware and software. Background in incident management and request management. IT support service management experience in a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and peripherals. Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Excellent customer service and organizational skills. Ability to empathize with customers and gauge urgency effectively. Willingness to work on shifting schedules and render overtime when necessary. More than 2 years of IT Service Desk experience. Vocational qualification (MCP or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications macOS experience (preferred but not necessary). Salary & Benefits Salary: 4.0 Million COP monthly .
