Job Summary As a Compliance Lead, you will oversee and manage all aspects of regulatory compliance within our organization, ensuring operations align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will develop and implement compliance policies and procedures, conduct audits and assessments, provide guidance to employees, and serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies. Responsibilities Controls Testing & Risk Assessment: Perform testing of controls listed in the global Risk Control Matrix across multiple finance processes. Determine appropriate sample sizes based on control frequency and risk level. Assess risk levels, especially for controls affecting the P&L. Identify potential material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, and segregation of duties issues. Proactively identify risks during process reviews. Support quarterly risk assessments by identifying key financial statement risks. Audit Support & Documentation: Prepare, organize, and lead the collection of audit evidence for internal and external audits and agencies. Own assigned controls and monitor testing frequency requirements. Participate in walkthroughs with process owners and auditors. Produce clear, concise documentation, testing narratives, and follow-up reports. Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the point of contact for agencies seeking guidance on control best practices. Provide consulting and advisory support to align agency processes with SOX and control requirements. Translate technical control and audit concepts into business-friendly language. Build trust‑based relationships with agencies. Internal Audit Partnership: Support internal audit with cyclical and routine control testing activities. Act as a buffer between internal audit and the business to maintain audit independence. Ensure alignment with internal audit endorsement. Project Work: Partner with leadership on a global controls centralization initiative. Apply analytical thinking to identify control gaps and recommend remediation. Qualifications and Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field. Advanced degree (JD, MBA) preferred. 7‑10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or related field, with 1‑2 years in a leadership role. In‑depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, Sarbanes‑Oxley). Strong analytical skills for assessing complex regulatory issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven leadership abilities and cross‑functional collaboration experience. Professional certifications such as CRCM or CCEP; CPA preferred but not mandatory. What We Offer 100% Remote Work.
