Senior Data DevOps Engineer

Overview Join to apply for the Senior Data DevOps Engineer role at EPAM Systems . We are currently seeking a Senior Data DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will help define and implement the architecture of our projects, work closely with customers, peers, and vendors, resolve complex issues, develop strategic solutions, and maintain technical standards. Responsibilities Monitor and troubleshoot data systems, proactively identifying and resolving performance, scalability, and reliability issues Design, deploy, and manage data infrastructure in the cloud, primarily using one of the major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data infrastructure and applications Automate and streamline data-related processes, ensuring scalability and reliability Ensure the security, availability, and performance of data platforms Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams Install, configure, and maintain data tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or similar tools in both on-premises and cloud environments Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their data infrastructure needs Requirements 3+ years of relevant professional experience Proven experience in designing and implementing Data DevOps solutions Expertise in cloud platforms, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS Infrastructure as Code experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools like Python, PowerShell, or Bash Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud-based CI/CD tools Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes Solid understanding of network protocols and mechanisms, such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, and NAT Experience installing and configuring data tools such as Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, ELK Stack, Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, or similar tools Professional mastery of the Linux operating system Experience with SQL We offer Learning Culture - Unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and tools to grow professionally Health Coverage - Health and wellness support with a premier health plan for you and up to four family members Visual Benefit - Up to $200.000 COP for visual health expenses Life Insurance Plan - Full-coverage life insurance plan Medical Leave Coverage - 100% coverage of medical leave for up to 90 days Professional Growth Opportunities - Competitive development process with tools to advance Stock Option Purchase Plan - Opportunity to purchase stock at a reduced price Additional Income - Potential to earn extra income through referrals and other activities Community Benefit - Be part of a global community of over 50,000 employees We accept CVs in English only .
