Lead and/or support a variety of periodic (and/or ad-hoc) testing and quality assurance reviews. Perform risk-based testing to assess the operating and/or design effectiveness of key GBM controls and processes in accordance with GBM First Line Testing Procedures. The reviews will require good knowledge of GBM processes, products, and risks. Testing will cover a broad variety of GBM-related procedures and risks, including regulatory onboarding procedures that impact GBM business trading activity (Dodd‑Frank, EMIR, Canadian Trade Reporting), and will require good knowledge of GBM processes, products, and risks. Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge. Perform analysis to identify and address patterns, themes, or trends that indicate potential weaknesses or gaps in the execution of GBM First Line Controls. Provide effective and constructive feedback to the First Line of Defense within GBM on identified deficiencies, supporting the development of appropriate corrective and preventive actions plans as required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economy, financial engineering or related. Intermediate EXCEL level (macro and pivot tables) is a plus Minimum of 3 years of experience in audit, compliance, surveillance, operational risk, quality assurance and/or project management, internal control, mid‑office or back‑office. Minimum of 1 year of experience in capital markets and wholesale banking products, OTC Derivative trading activities, corporate / investment banking and related regulatory requirements. B2 level of English because you will work hand in hand with our headquarters in Canada.
