Strategic Proposal Analyst – Remote Work Join BairesDev as a Strategic Proposal Analyst and help craft persuasive, high‑quality proposals and responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for custom software development and IT professional services engagements. This role requires exceptional English writing and analytical skills, along with a strong understanding of software development project delivery through SDLC and Agile frameworks. Working remotely, you’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Technical teams to shape narratives that demonstrate value, feasibility, and differentiation, and propose executive-level content that builds client confidence. What You’ll Do Lead end‑to‑end creation of proposals and RFx responses for project‑based IT and software development engagements. Synthesize inputs from technical, delivery, and commercial teams into structured, client‑focused narratives. Write and refine executive summaries, delivery approaches, value propositions, and differentiators. Ensure responses are strategically positioned, technically feasible and commercially competitive. Manage proposal schedules, stakeholder reviews and final submissions to meet deadlines. Partner with Solution Architects, Delivery Managers and Sales Executives to reflect accurate delivery logic and business goals. Develop and maintain reusable proposal content including case studies, delivery narratives, success stories and templates. Create presentation materials and sales collateral to support pre‑sales discussions. Contribute to continuous improvement of proposal processes, templates and content libraries. What We’re Looking For 3–5 years experience in IT outsourcing, consulting or professional services, with hands‑on involvement in developing proposals and RFP/RFI responses for software development or IT delivery engagements. Demonstrated experience writing and structuring proposals for software development or IT delivery projects. Strong understanding of SDLC and delivery frameworks such as Agile and Scrum. Knowledge of engagement models and pricing structures including Time & Materials, Fixed‑Price, and Managed Services. Understanding of project phases such as Discovery, Design, Build, QA, and Deployment. Proven ability to interpret technical or delivery input and convert it into persuasive business narratives. Outstanding English writing and communication skills; concise, executive‑level documents for global audiences. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience. High proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms). Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and Slack is a plus. Familiarity with UX/UI, AI, or digital transformation concepts is a plus. How We Make Your Work Easier 100% remote work (from anywhere).
