Estimator Trainee

Role Description

This is a full-time remote/hybrid role for an Estimator. The Estimator will prepare cost estimates for products or services offered by JJAS Door Installations, Inc. They will work closely with customers, vendors, and project managers to meet project requirements, maintain a customer database, and track leads and opportunities. The Estimator will also review contracts and order submittals, and maintain contact throughout the project to avoid disputes or misunderstandings.

Qualifications

• Newly graduated CAD Design, Civil Engineer, and Architects are welcomed.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and project managers.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Emullion, and estimating software is a plus.
• Any experience in construction estimating, specifically related to doors and hardware, is greatly valued.
