The Technical Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to successfully complete regulatory Product goals and objectives. Projects are time-sensitive with ambiguous content, requiring a hybrid (Agile & Waterfall) approach to project execution. This role provides technical delivery oversight and cross-functional team coordination for the Regulatory portfolio, partnering with Product, Technology, Engineering, and Operations stakeholders to drive execution across teams. This position facilitates meetings to execute strategic deliverables, enabling key decisions and driving alignment. Experience in E2E delivery and SDLC activities is critical for success in this role. The individual also manages project governance, executive presentations, meeting agendas and minutes, key performance dashboards, project schedules, communication plans, risk management plans, status updates, budget tracking, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical delivery oversight and cross-functional team coordination for the Regulatory portfolio.
- Facilitate discussions to align teams on program roadmaps, ensuring clear directional alignment.
- Manage roadmaps, project schedules, and program deliverables using a hybrid Agile & Waterfall approach.
- Track and manage budgets, including variance analysis and cost issue resolution against approved earmarks.
- Develop detailed project schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports while tracking key milestones and adjusting plans as needed.
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
- Manage E2E delivery and SDLC activities, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.
- Communicate major milestones and project progress throughout the Solutions Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Identify dependencies and risks, conduct regular status meetings, and manage prioritization across multiple projects.
- Set and manage client expectations while escalating issues and managing change effectively.
- Evaluate project impacts and risks, applying change control procedures and mitigation strategies.
- Create and deliver executive-level presentations and stakeholder communications.
- Manage the creation, tracking, and improvement of governance processes and documentation, serving as a champion of the client's EPMO Governance Methodology.
- Partner with other project managers in the portfolio to share best practices and key project insights.
Must have Skills: Project Management methodologies (Capable).
Good To Have Skills: Technical delivery, Telecommunications
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in technical project management, change management, or process improvement.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in E2E delivery and SDLC activities.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and results-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all levels and functions within an organization.
- Experience with technology and engineering development activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Executive presentation skills and meeting facilitation experience.
- Ability to work remotely and manage distributed teams effectively.
