Amadeus Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Software Development Engineer About The Business Area/Department Reservation is the beating heart of many Amadeus products. It handles critical steps on trip reservation including booking, ticketing, and management of traveler records. We are accountable for our unique reservation platform, used by airlines and distribution actors. Job Title Software Development Engineer Summary Of The Role You will be accountable for the technical design and delivery of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with the stakeholders and in line with the team vision. You will be responsible for the development of new software solutions along with the maintenance of the existing code. You will work in close relationships with product definition analysts, quality assurance engineers, and product management, providing solutions to airlines, travel agents, and beyond. In This Role You’ll Participate in the technical design and implementation of new features. Develop software, implement unit testing, deploy and maintain the software on different platforms. Produce software documentation and support end users in production. Ensure the sustainable evolution of software architecture and perform other standard SRE activities such as machine reboot, role-switches, OSRS activations in PRO, etc. About The Ideal Candidate Has knowledge of C++, Java, Python, Golang, or C#. Has experience working with Cloud (Azure preferred). Has experience working with Kafka, Splunk, and Grafana. Has experience with Agile methodologies.
