Hi There, This is Thai from CI&T I am a Talent Attracting Analyst looking for a Senior Java Developer in Colombia to join our team.

Requirements for this challenge:
  1. 5+ years experience as a developer working on large, distributed systems
  2. 8+ years development in any language, with the 4 most recent years in Java developing server-side applications
  3. Expert in Core Java 1.8 and above
  4. Demonstrable proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot and development of RESTful/JSON web services in a micro-service architecture
  5. Demonstrable experience with Restful web services using JSON (JSON-API and/or GraphQL preferred)
  6. Proficient with design methods/patterns (e.g., DRY, SOLID, ReST) and their practical application
  7. Demonstrable proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, Assert-J
  8. Proficient level experience with messaging frameworks such as JMS and ActiveMQ
  9. Demonstrable proficiency with Agile and Test-Driven development
  10. Proficient level experience with Relational and NoSQL databases
  11. Proficient level experience with database access using Spring JDBC template, JPA, Hibernate (against SQL Server, preferred but not required)
  12. Proficient in MacOS, Unix, and Linux
  13. High-level understanding of in-memory distributed data storage systems like memcache, ehcache, Hazelcast
  14. Proficient in Git
  15. Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub actions
  16. Preferred experience with cloud deployments (Preferably Azure)
  17. Experience with build tools like Maven
  18. Experience with using the IntelliJ IDE
  19. Proficient with profiling tools
  20. Able to compare and contrast third-party libraries
  21. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  22. Working knowledge of Windows, Unix, and Linux
  23. Highly motivated and driven by a desire to solve difficult problems and learn new technology
  24. Experience with international software development (multi-lingual, multi-currency, geographic, and locale awareness)
  25. Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or software development-related field
