Kennedys is looking to recruit an Associate to join our specialised insurance and commerciallitigation practice in the Madrid office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team and be a part of a growing global law firm. The successful Solicitor will be a team player highly responsive to both colleagues and clients, and with the ability to adapt their style as required. They will work for major national and international insurance companies in both contentious and non-contentious matters. The successful candidates will work on a broad mix of pre-litigation and litigation in all-aspects of cross-border commercial and insurance related disputes including liability, banking, finance andpolitical risk. Team Our Team in Madrid is comprised of highly specialised lawyers, with extensive expertise to meet the particular needs of our insurance clients. Our team of legal experts has experience in a range of sectors including (re)insurance, D&O, financial institutionsand professional indemnity fields. Clients Financial institutions Insurers and (re)insurers D&O RequiredExperience Qualified Solicitor with 2-3 years defendant insurance experience Financial Institutions and D&O experience is preferable Experience of coverage insurance litigation Spanish and English language skills are essential Ability to apply a commercial approach to claims in order to deliver economic solutions Excellent legal research, legal drafting, and organisational skills Previous client contact and attendance at business development events.
