Junior Accountant

Bayit Management is looking for a full‑time Junior Accountant who will drive financial accuracy and contribute to strategic growth in a dynamic environment. What makes you a strong candidate: Proficiency in tax regulations, QuickBooks, invoice processing, financial statements, and overall financial acumen. Conversational Spanish. Responsibilities Handle day‑to‑day financial records and accounting transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and related tasks. Review and analyze transactions from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure accurate coding and recording, working with the AR team to investigate, resolve, and report discrepancies. Record vendor invoices in the system and ensure the correct use of General Ledger accounts. Maintain financial statements from banks and other financial institutions for comprehensive reporting. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts as part of the monthly closing process. Process invoices for payment and ensure all creditor payments are made accurately, efficiently, and on time. Resolve finance‑related issues and inquiries promptly and effectively. Assist with internal and external audits, as well as annual tax return preparation. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Prior work experience in a related field (preferred). Proficiency in accounting software such as RealPage; familiarity with QuickBooks, Expensify, and Excel. Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities. High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. Strong self‑motivation and eagerness to learn about Accounting and Finance in both the Hospitality and Real Estate industries.
