Planning and managing a 5-star vacation from scratch requires expertise, cleverness, and a genuine passion for detail. That's what UJV is all about. UJV is a service-driven team of experts that work behind the scenes, engineering luxury travel experiences for advisors globally, so they can grow their business and fully satisfy their exclusive clients. We are the luxury travel advisor’s right hand. How? UJV is a team of travel experts that advises and supports luxury travel advisors worldwide. We work behind the scenes as allies of top luxury travel advisors, to offer a 5 Star experience for their clients. We offer travel advisors the knowledge and tools needed to grow their business and better serve their exclusive clients. We offer an experience-centered service based on passion, expertise, integrity and attention to detail. We are willing to do the hard work in order to see our clients shine. LatAm-based candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates located outside the United States will be engaged under an independent contractor agreement. You will be responsible for managing your own social security and taxes in accordance with the regulations of your home country. Please take this into consideration before applying. Role Mission We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to serve as the operational glue and social heartbeat of our global, remote team. You aren’t just here to manage processes; you are here to act as a driver of our People Operations and employee experience. Your goal is to ensure that while we, the company, works apart in distance, we operate as one high-performance unit. This means balancing the "grit" of HR—precision in our systems, data, and payroll—with the "energy" of our culture. You are the person who ensures our team is supported, our data is clean, and our people feel connected and energized from their first day onward. We need someone who "gets it." If you’re a problem-solver who sees a gap and builds a bridge without needing a manual, you’ve found your place. What You’ll Own 1. People Operations & Infrastructure HRIS & Data Integrity: Act as the internal expert for our HRIS (Rippling). You will manage benefit elections, 401k adjustments, and ensure our employee data is accurate, up-to-date, and organized. Payroll & Audits: Serve as the second reviewer for payroll to ensure accuracy across our global entities. You will own the quarterly audit process, ensuring all onboarding tasks, training, and 30/60/90-day evaluations are tracked and completed. Operational Support: Handle employment verifications and general team inquiries regarding Rippling and company policies with speed and precision. Recruiting Coordination: Partner with our Talent Manager to keep the hiring engine moving. When support is requested, this includes reviewing applications, conducting referral screenings, ordering background checks, and managing candidate update emails. 2. Talent Integration & Development Onboarding Excellence: Own the end-to-end new hire experience. Beyond just scheduling meet-and-greets, you will create and lead core policy trainings, ensuring every new hire is set up for success from day one. LMS & Growth: Manage our Learning Management System and lead workshops on Core Values, soft skills, and professional development. Performance Cadence: Ensure managers are hitting their 1:1 and goal-setting rhythms. You are the "checks and balances" for our performance culture. 3. Global Connectivity & Engagement Internal Communication: Own the "Daily Stand-Up" (our internal newspaper). You will be "in the know" across all departments, gathering updates and creating content that keeps the entire global team informed and inspired. Virtual & In-Person Community: Design and lead high-energy virtual gatherings. You will also take the lead in coordinating our "Hub" meet-ups, helping organize and execute quarterly in-person gatherings for our remote teams worldwide. Team Betterment & Impact: Lead initiatives that keep our people supported and valued, such as well-being programs and Year of Service recognition. You will also drive our global citizenship efforts, which may include coordinating charitable initiatives, community support, or crisis response plans for team members in regions affected by natural disasters. Who You Are High Agency: You are a problem-solver who can take a vision and turn it into a reality. You have a strong "figure-it-out" factor. You thrive in a fast-paced setting and are comfortable pivoting quickly when business needs change. You don't need a step-by-step guide; you understand the "why" and build the "how." Analytical & Precise: You enjoy the "People Ops" side of HR. You are the person who notices a 1% discrepancy in a spreadsheet or a missed checkmark in an audit. The "Energy" in the Room: You have an outgoing, positive presence. You are personable enough to gather news from every department and confident enough to lead a team meeting. Global Mindset: You understand the nuances of remote work and have the logistical chops to coordinate events across different time zones and cultures. Requirements Experience: 3+ years in HR Generalist or People Ops roles. Remote Expertise: Previous experience working in a fully remote environment, preferably for a US-based company. Language: Flawless English (written and verbal). This is non-negotiable as you will be writing internal communications and leading training for US and global stakeholders. Tech Stack: Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Rippling experience is a significant plus. AI Literacy: You understand how to use AI as a tool to improve efficiency, but your final output is always your own voice and original thought. Trust & Discretion: As someone within the HR team, you must have a proven track record of handling sensitive information with absolute confidentiality. #J-18808-Ljbffr
