Data Science Instructor (FT, Remote for US market) TripleTen is a service that empowers individuals, regardless of their prior experience, to master tech professions through bootcamps in software engineering, data science, business intelligence analytics, and QA engineering. About TripleTen TripleTen is a remote‑first organization whose students complete bootcamps in a remote environment. In the Role Our instructors are role models for students in the Data Science program. They mentor US‑based students, help them with difficult concepts and assignments, teach the skills necessary to become great DS professionals, guide students through the program, and support their future careers, regardless of their background. Full‑time remote contract, eligible candidates must be based outside the United States. Submit your CV in English. What you will do Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently. Offer personalized support through 1:1 video calls. Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages. Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry‑relevant skills. Share your professional insights and best practices to support the learning community. Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards. Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations. Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions. Requirements At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in Data Science, including Python, advanced SQL, and a solid grasp of Machine Learning fundamentals. Ability to clearly explain topics like EDA, SDA, and Machine Learning in an accessible way for beginners. 1+ years of professional experience in the tech industry (experience with the U.S. market is a plus). Availability to work from 6:00 PM (EST) to 2:00 AM (EST). A genuine passion for teaching, sharing knowledge, and staying up to date with Data Science. Fluent English—strong spoken and written communication essential. Must be based outside the United States. We Appreciate It If You Have Teaching or tutoring experience. Experience in deeper DS concepts (e.g., Computer Vision, Sentiment Analysis). Own experience as an online student and a desire to help create the best place to study Data Science. What we can offer you Fixed monthly compensation of $2,300‑$3,500 (varies by experience). Full‑time, Remote First role with a consistent weekly schedule: 8‑hour workdays, five days a week, scheduled between 10 AM and 2 AM ET (exact hours will be confirmed during the interview). Free in‑house training to grow as a skilled Instructor and role model (communication style, soft skills, student engagement techniques). What to Expect From the Hiring Process The hiring process includes a technical assignment or live interview to assess technical knowledge and teaching skills.
