Bilingual Subrogation Specialist – U.S. Personal Injury Law Fully remote. Candidates must be based in Colombia. Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Colombia Time) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Subrogation Specialist to join our personal injury team. In this role, you will manage lien resolutions, handle medical and insurance claims, and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi‑Cal, VA, and private insurance regulations. The ideal candidate has experience in subrogation, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Subrogation Case Management: Investigate, process, and resolve subrogation claims for personal injury cases. Identify and assert liens on recoveries in compliance with federal and state laws. Review medical bills, insurance claims, and other documentation for accuracy and completeness. Lien Negotiation and Resolution: Negotiate lien reductions with medical providers, government agencies, and insurers. Advocate for favorable resolutions to maximize client settlements. Communicate effectively with third parties to ensure timely resolutions. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) guidelines and other applicable laws. Maintain accurate and organized records of correspondence, settlements, and payments. Prepare detailed case reports for management and legal teams. Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to identify subrogation opportunities. Coordinate with the Subrogation Manager to address complex cases and elevate issues as needed. Support team goals by sharing insights and strategies for effective subrogation processes. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in subrogation, lien resolution, or medical billing in personal injury or a related field. Knowledge of Medicare, Medi‑Cal, VA, and private insurance regulations is required. Skills: Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
