What to expect in this role We are seeking a highly capable Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead and drive product vision, roadmap alignment, and delivery execution for commercial lending modernization initiatives. This role is pivotal in transforming legacy C++ systems into scalable, cloud-native solutions, while enhancing product compliance, configurability, and user experience. The ideal candidate possesses deep domain knowledge in commercial and B2B lending and experience working with loan origination and servicing systems, compliance-driven platforms, and modernization projects. Responsibilities Own and evolve the product backlog for LaserPro modernization, ensuring alignment with strategic business outcomes and technical readiness. Translate lending workflows and customer problems into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams. Partner with business stakeholders, engineering leads, legal/compliance SMEs, and QA to prioritize features and resolve dependencies. Drive modernization initiatives such as: C++ to .NET Core or Java migration Document storage transformation (Azure Files to Atlas DB) Agent orchestrator redesign and GitHub migration Prioritize features based on customer value, technical complexity, compliance needs, and time-to-market. Champion Agile best practices and continuously optimize team workflows across multi-shore scrum teams (India & US). Collaborate with design and UX teams to guide UI/UX modernization efforts across on-prem and cloud platforms. Support integration efforts with commercial products (e.g., Originate, Mortgagebot), 3rd-party LOS systems, and eSignature solutions. Ensure products meet high standards of quality, scalability, security, and compliance, especially during key migration milestones. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, ideally in fintech or B2B commercial lending. Proven experience delivering modernization or migration efforts (e.g., monolith to microservices, cloud-native transitions). Experience working with engineering teams in technologies such as: .NET Core, C++, Java, Angular, Azure, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions. Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of commercial lending products including term loans, syndicated loans, and asset-based lending. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and documentation compliance in lending. Skills and Competencies Strategic mindset with a bias for execution and iterative delivery. Exceptional ability to break down complex workflows into manageable deliverables. Strong communicator who can align cross-functional stakeholders and lead multi-team initiatives. Comfortable operating in large-scale enterprise environments with distributed teams and layered governance models. Adept with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, ADO, GitHub Projects), and experienced in running backlog refinement, sprint planning, and demos.
