This remote position is based in Colombia, offering the flexibility to work from home or at our office in Medellin. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our international teams and contribute to the success of our growing company.
Key Responsibilities- Import bank statements, reconcile accounts, and prepare cash flow statements for management review.
- Process payments to suppliers, tax authorities, and salaries while ensuring accurate recognition of costs and accruals.
- Gather and deliver purchase invoices to the accounting firm, correctly recognizing costs and accruing expenses.
- Double-check and deliver intercompany invoices to the head office, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review and translate financial statements and reports delivered by the accounting firm, reporting accurate numbers to the head office.
- Collect information from HR and prepare payroll payments for employees.
- Reconcile intercompany transactions, understand rebilling of goods and services, and process general ledger adjustments in the P&L.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Team and VP of Finance to streamline financial planning and decision making.
- Timely process period close, including month-end adjustments, accruals, and provisions.
