About the Role

We're seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team at Olly Olly. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating visually stunning graphics, logos, and visual concepts that exceed our clients' expectations.

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from designing custom logos to creating engaging social media content. You'll be working closely with our internal marketing team to develop creative visuals that align with our brand's tone and style.

We're looking for someone with a strong eye for design, a willingness to learn and develop their skills, and a passion for creating innovative and effective visual solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and edit images for client websites, ensuring they align with the client's brand style and industry.
  • Design and propose custom logo designs for clients, from scratch and/or templates.
  • Reformat photographs and logos provided by clients, improving image resolution.
  • Customize WordPress themes for clients, ensuring they align with their brand.
  • Track tasks and time in project management software, communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure tasks are completed on-time.
  • Collaborate with the internal marketing team to provide images and illustrations for the Olly Olly brand, including social media pages and blog.
Requirements
  • 1+ year experience in Graphic Design, demonstrating a strong understanding of composition and design fundamentals, including color theory and typography.
  • Firm understanding of formatting for both digital and print applications.
  • Experience using vectors, especially logos.
  • Professional-level English, with the ability to write in English without spelling mistakes and communicate effectively with the team and managers.
  • Technically proficient with vector and raster design software, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, expected to be presented in your portfolio.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and CSS.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar software would be an asset.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Design or related fields is not required, but a strong portfolio is essential.
What We Offer
  • Salary: $500 USD/month.
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM Central Standard Time (40-hour work week; no weekends).
  • Work From Home.
  • Fully remote collaborative teams.
  • 23 paid days off, divided into 15 days PTO and 8 Company U.S. Holidays.
