About WBL California, LLC:
WBL California, LLC provides short-term commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States that face challenges accessing traditional funding. This is a remote Contract/Consultant position with flexible working hours from 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of the English language and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Resumes must be submitted in English.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Regulatory Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and laws governing residential mortgage lending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on U.S. regulatory matters and ensure effective compliance protocols are in place.
- Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to address compliance-related issues.
- Manage multi-state residential mortgage lending licensing applications and oversee compliance with applicable licensing requirements.
- Identify and prepare required residential mortgage loan closing documents and disclosures.
- Communicate with outside counsel and manage external relationships.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- LAW degree from a nationally accredited U.S. law school preferred.
- 5-10 years' experience in regulatory and compliance within residential mortgage banking throughout the U.S.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. federal and state residential mortgage lending laws, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer 11 paid holiday days per year and a 100% remote working arrangement.
