Job Title: Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining new APIs and migrating existing ones using Java and Spring Boot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new APIs and migrate existing ones using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers to implement best practices and ensure high-quality API performance and reliability.
  • Analyze requirements and devise technical solutions to implement features effectively.
  • Write clean, efficient code following best practices, perform necessary unit testing, and undergo code reviews with code owners.
  • Oversee the deployment process and take pride in the successful release of your work.
  • Work closely with senior developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to foster strong professional relationships.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated on new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Take full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you, ensuring timely completion and thorough testing before submission.
Requirements:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Java and related technologies to design, develop web applications & REST APIs.
  • Working experience in java web frameworks (Spring, Spring boot, Hibernate, Struts2, Spring Data, JPA).
  • Strong experience in database design and management and being updated on the latest practices and associated versions.
  • Desired experience with continuous delivery systems, in build tools and in version control tools(CI/CD, Git, Kubernetes, AKS, Docker).
  • Write JUnit test cases for the highest possible test coverage in every build.
  • Preferable: Exposure / working experience about Kubernetes.
  • Preferable: Exposure / working experience of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJs etc.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive, responsible and superb execution;
  • Proven work experience as a Java-J2EE developer.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.
  • Good team player with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Familiar with Microservices design.
  • Understanding of the Design Patterns, Architectural Blueprints, UML and Application Design.
  • Experience with RDBMS / MongoDB.
  • Familiar with web hosting products is a plus.
  • Work experience with cloud environment is a plus.
