At Efecto Studios SAS, we are seeking a highly skilled 3D World Builder and Narrative Storyteller to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can bring our game concepts to life by creating immersive three-dimensional worlds and communicating engaging stories through scenarios.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret Game Concept: Work closely with our Game Designer to understand the game's vision and create levels that reflect this concept.
  • Design Environments: Sketch and implement environments that form the structure of our game's levels and scenarios.
  • Pace and Flow: Determine the flow and pace of events within each level to ensure a seamless gaming experience.
  • Collaboration: Work with our artists and programmers to integrate levels with mechanics, visual, sound, and interactive elements.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of changes made, new implementations, and tool usage to ensure efficient project management.
Requirements
  • Creative Talent: Possess excellent design skills, knowledge of tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Unreal Engine.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication in English.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to iterate based on feedback from the team and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Unreal Engine Expertise: Proficiency in Blueprints and familiarity with Architecture and 3D Modeling.
  • Level Creation: Experience with map editors such as Minecraft, Halo Forge, or UEFN Gmod.
