Revolutionize Clinical Data Management with MSD

At MSD, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Data Management Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our global clinical data integration (GCDI) team, you will play a pivotal role in transforming clinical data management in Latin America.



Role Overview

The Clinical Data Management Strategist will be responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and leverage local information across departments to drive innovation and deliver value across clinical trials, data management standards, and technology platforms.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop Career Plans: Develop career plans for direct reports aligned to organization's goals and provide developmental opportunities through coaching, timely feedback, and skill assessments.

  • Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and leverage local information across departments to drive innovation and deliver value.

  • Manage Complex Projects: Manage complex projects, driving performance, and implementing best practices to help achieve organizational mission.

  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with both technical and business areas, in both English and Spanish, providing cohesive responses and identifying optimal paths forward.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating across functions to uphold data integrity and compliance, while leveraging innovative mindsets to drive operational efficiency.



Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 8 Years of Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Analysis or related industry experience.

  • People Management Experience: Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.

  • Knowledge of Database Structures: Knowledge of database structures and available tools to manage, extract, and report data.

  • Clinical Development Knowledge: Knowledge of Clinical Development through submission process, International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and Code of Federal Regulations related to Clinical Development and Technologies.

  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills (oral and written), with the ability to communicate with both technical and business areas, in both English and Spanish.

  • Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to find innovative and sustainable solutions to people, process, technology, and organizational issues.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrates strong leadership, urgency, flexibility, and thrives in dynamic environments.

  • Confident Presenter: Confident presenter with basic statistical knowledge and the ability to interpret data.



Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000, commensurate with experience.
