Job Description
The Communications Lead will play a key role in our regional team, responsible for implementing our Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) strategy across the Andean Region and Central America. This involves identifying communication opportunities that align with our overall business and regional communication strategies.
The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in communications, preferably in sectors related to agriculture or agribusiness. Proven experience in managing communication crises and working in multicultural environments is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement external communication strategies that enhance our company's reputation and deliver business value.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists in key countries within the region, respond to press inquiries, coordinate interviews, and generate content to strengthen our presence in media aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with public relations agencies to ensure quality and effectiveness in executing communication strategies.
- Support local leaders in external communication and draft speeches, articles, and key messages.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.
- Advanced English proficiency both written and spoken.
- Excellent writing and content creation skills.
- Ability to align regional goals with our corporate vision.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
