Sustainability Consultant (Mid-Level)

ERM Brazil is seeking a seasoned Sustainability Consultant to drive environmental stewardship and social responsibility within our organization.

We are looking for a highly experienced Sustainability Consultant with a proven track record in managing socio-environmental and climatic risks, and implementing ESG strategies that align with corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of sustainability strategies that integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure compliance with international regulations and standards.
  • Design and implement sustainable practices that enhance our organization's environmental and social performance.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management and other departments on sustainable strategies and practices.
  • Prepare and present sustainability reports to senior management and internal committees, and manage communication with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Between 1 and 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or similar roles, with a proven track record in implementing ESG strategies in large organizations.
  • University degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Sciences, Sustainability, or a related field. Postgraduate qualifications or additional certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of ESG frameworks (TCFD, SASB, CDP), analytical skills, and experience in team management.
  • Excellent English language skills; other languages are valued.
