Globally, the Gofluent Group is a leading provider of distance language learning solutions that combine innovative eLearning technology, live virtual classrooms, group lessons, and one-on-one 24/7 interactive coaching. We have over 1,000 foreign language trainers based all around the world.

We are expanding our expertise in mobile learning technologies and growing our partnerships with world-class institutions, such as the Harvard Business Review and The New York Times, for our training content.

About the Role

We provide the necessary organization and communication required for a healthy and successful working environment. As an Educational Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance and productivity of our foreign language trainers based all around the world.

You will work in our Bogotá office and be responsible for managing a team of approximately 50 trainers. Your duties include ensuring consistent and high-quality lesson delivery on a mass scale, ensuring trainer compliance with internal KPIs, proposing and following up on trainer performance improvements, taking the lead in team recruitment activities, overseeing HR aspects of the trainer team, coordinating with internal teams to provide solutions if issues arise, and conducting quarterly performance reviews of trainers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes
  • The ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Experience in teaching is a plus
  • Experience in working in multicultural environments is a plus
  • Bachelor's or College degree
