Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant or Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and employees to resolve inquiries and disputes related to accounts payable.
  • Set up new vendor accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained and verified.
  • Process check requests and invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Audit processed checks and invoices to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Investigate and resolve vendor inquiries and disputes.
  • Update cash flow records for review by the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Prepare and submit weekly reports for review by the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Print, prepare, and mail checks as needed.
  • Perform soft reconciliations of all credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
  • Organize, file, and maintain records and files within the office.
  • Enter re-classification, correction, and void entries as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English (C2 level).
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Drive.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Clio.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and work ethic.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
