Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Training Expert and Curriculum Developer to join our team.

Estimated Salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in aviation training and curriculum development to work with our team at Amentum. As an Aviation Training Expert and Curriculum Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality training programs and courses.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in related training roles. They will also possess excellent instructional design skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex technical information and present it in a clear and concise manner.

You will work closely with our instructors and subject matter experts to develop comprehensive training curricula that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our training programs are relevant, engaging, and effective in preparing students for their careers in aviation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an aviation-related field or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aviation training, with a focus on curriculum development and implementation;
  • Excellent instructional design skills, with the ability to create engaging and interactive training materials;
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical information and present it in a clear and concise manner;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with instructors, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of E-Learning and computer-based training systems preferred;
  • Must have appropriate Colombian instructor IET license;
  • English language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/2, S/1; Spanish language ability equivalent to the Foreign Service Institute Level R/3, S/3 is required;
