The Total Rewards Manager Role
The Total Rewards Manager plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational culture. This includes ensuring that the employee value proposition is competitive, fair, and attractive, promoting talent attraction, retention, and motivation within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the total rewards strategy, including base salary, incentives, benefits, and recognition, to ensure the company remains competitive in the market and compensation packages reflect both business and employee needs.
- Evaluate and design compensation and benefits policies based on market analysis and technology industry trends, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational culture.
- Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, and Leadership teams to ensure an equitable compensation structure aligned with business objectives, supervising and optimizing processes related to salary reviews, bonuses, incentive plans, and benefits.
- Measure the impact and effectiveness of compensation programs in talent attraction and retention, ensuring compliance with local and international compensation and benefits regulations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience in Total Rewards or Compensation & Benefits roles within technology companies.
- Deep knowledge of salary structures, incentive plans, and benefits, as well as strong analytical skills to interpret data and market trends.
- Leadership ability and teamwork skills with key stakeholders, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in compensation analysis and management tools (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, HRIS platforms).
- Certification in Total Rewards (e.g., CCP – Certified Compensation Professional) and experience with compensation models for growth-stage companies or tech startups.
- Advanced English proficiency for interaction with global teams.
