About the Role

As a key member of the hotel team, the Security Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property. Responsible for the detailed management of the Security and Health Safety Team, this individual ensures that all relevant security policies are in place and implemented effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to adapt to constant change within the hotel, and possess a keen eye for detail. With a focus on delivering exceptional service, this person will work closely with the General Manager to ensure that baseline security measures deliver the intent contained in the guidance sections, and risk-based security measures match the security risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Local SG-SST
  • Conduct security risk assessments at least once a year and as required
  • Ensure alignment of local security policies and procedures with local law and health and safety legislation
  • Form strategic and working level relationships with local law enforcement and emergency response stakeholders
