About the Role:We are looking for a skilled Backend Java Developer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Java-based applications. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing efficient, scalable, and secure Java applications;
- Analyzing business objectives and user requirements to determine application characteristics and functionalities;
- Collaborating with the team to implement improvements to existing Java infrastructure;
- Maintaining and updating documentation to ensure smooth operations;
- Developing expertise in Java data structures, algorithms, and software design;
- Fostering strong relationships with colleagues and clients through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Fluency in Java programming language;
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing Java-based applications;
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns;
- Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, and Gradle;
- Familiarity with SQL, relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), non-relational databases (MongoDB or SolR), and ORM technologies (Hibernate, JPA2);
- Proficiency in test-driven development methodologies;
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology;
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
