About Your Business Area/Department:

Amadeus is a leading provider of revenue management software for the airline industry, and our data science department plays a crucial role in leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to develop innovative solutions that drive strategic decision-making.

Summary of the Role:

As a Senior Data Science Engineer at Amadeus, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to develop and implement advanced data-driven solutions that enhance our revenue management solutions for the airline industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy machine learning models and data analysis algorithms to drive key business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science innovations into our products and ensure they deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability in processing large datasets.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data science processes.
  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and insights, and lead efforts to translate these findings into strategic recommendations and improvements.
  • Interact with airline customers to present and introduce new data science products, troubleshoot issues, and provide advisory services.

About the Ideal Candidate:

You are a seasoned data science professional with expertise in developing and implementing data-driven solutions, and a strong background in revenue management is preferred or similar experience.

  • Expertise in designing and deploying machine learning models and data analysis algorithms.
  • Advanced technical skills in Python, R, or similar programming languages, along with experience with SQL.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Customer-oriented and experienced in interacting with clients to introduce new products, troubleshoot issues, and provide expert advisory services.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior team members and influence project outcomes.
