Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough review of all existing legal expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and optimizing legal expense management.
- Develop and administer policies and procedures to ensure judicious and cost-effective legal expenses are incurred.
- Manage relationships with outside attorneys and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and resolving issues.
- Monitor legal expenses to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Propose cost-saving strategies to management to enhance financial planning and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and/or a Paralegal certificate.
- 3-5 years of experience in the lending/mortgage industry, preferred.
- 100% fluency in English, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Contract/Consultant Position
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- 11 paid US holidays.
