The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with a focus on observability. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our observability strategy, ensuring we have deep insights into the performance, health, and behavior of our systems and applications.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and implement a unified observability platform across teams, providing real-time visibility into system performance and health.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to instrument system, application, and business KPI monitoring, custom dashboards, and alerts.
- Onboard complex data sources to an Observability tool, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality data.
- Develop and maintain standards/best practice documentation for monitoring and alerting, promoting consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles with a strong focus on observability.
- Proven expertise in large-scale web operations and cloud technologies using AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Ruby, Go, Java, Python, and equivalent languages.
- Experience with key technologies like New Relic, Prometheus, Influx, Grafana, Telegraf, statsd, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Open Telemetry, Data Dog, and Dynatrace.
- Strong understanding of networking systems and protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
