Niq is seeking a highly skilled Statutory Accounting Sr. Analyst to join our team in Bogota, Colombia.

The selected candidate will work closely with our controllers and corporate accounting function to support a critical element of our end-to-end record to report process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Statutory Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for Niq operating companies, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to local statutory reporting across different jurisdictions.
  • Audit Support: Assist in the coordination and preparation of audit materials with all teams and work closely with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
  • Company Registry Filings: File required information with local company registries in accordance with applicable corporate law.
  • Financial Reporting Reconciliation: Perform reconciliations of statutory reports to ensure they align with internal records and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory accounting or financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
