Taxation Specialist

Schumberger is a leading oilfield services company that provides a range of products and services to the global energy industry.

The Tax Analyst is a key member of the Schlumberger tax team, responsible for ensuring the company's tax compliance and financial reporting requirements are met.

• Prepare and File Tax Returns: Prepare and review complex corporate tax returns and indirect tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Review Statutory Fiscal Accounts: Review statutory fiscal accounts within defined time frames to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and Submit Financial Reports: Prepare, review, and submit internal management reports, including consolidation and review prior to submission to GeoMarket.
• Identify and Implement Process Improvements: Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and implement automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Meet Operational Effectiveness Targets: Achieve operational effectiveness targets set for controls and identify opportunities for control improvements.
• Deliver on Tax Effectiveness and Efficiency Targets: Deliver on tax effectiveness and efficiency targets, ensuring the company's tax obligations are met while minimizing costs.
• Coach and Develop Team Members: Coach less senior members of the tax team, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
• Support Tax Audits: Support tax audits as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Accounting: A bachelor's degree in public accounting or a related field is required.
• Advanced English: Advanced English language skills are required, as well as excellent verbal communication skills.
• Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in tax is required.
