Our Mission

We aim to support Nu's sustainable growth by ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements. The Regulatory Solutions Team achieves this through:

  • Developing high-quality standards for client data and regulatory adherence;
  • Executing AML operational routines, including KYC, PEPs, Sanctions, Enhanced Due Diligence, FATCA/CRS, Transactional Analysis, and Embargoes;
  • Maintaining diligence, flexibility, and resilience according to our principles.
Job Requirements

The RegSol - AML Ops Analyst will:

  • Analyze transactional alerts generated by the AML transaction monitoring system to identify potential risks;
  • Prepare investigation files for escalation to the AML & Compliance Local Forum as needed;
  • Strengthen the AML Ops team to align with our responsibilities as a financial institution;
  • Identify high-risk networks and escalate complex cases.
Skills and Qualifications

We require an experienced RegSol - AML Ops Analyst with:

  • Bachelor's Degree;
  • 3+ years of experience in monitoring transactional AML alerts and/or compliance areas in processes related to AML transactional monitoring;
  • Previous experience in investigations related to AML and high-complexity network analysis;
  • Knowledge of suspicious operation reports to the UIAF;
  • Autonomy to make decisions impacting customers and Nu based on AML policies;
  • Solid understanding of specific regulations applicable to transactional monitoring analysis following SARLAFT guidelines and expectations;
  • Attention to detail, data-driven approach, and results-oriented mindset;
  • Languages: Advanced or native Spanish speaker and upper-intermediate/advanced English;
  • Solid analytical background desired; comfort with manipulating data and interest in learning basic data analysis skills (e.g., SQL).
