This role offers an opportunity for an ambitious senior fraud analyst to have a huge impact across the organization, while working in a complex and rapidly changing crypto environment. We are looking for someone with experience in online fraud prevention, including analytics and in-depth investigations. The main focus of this position will be to play a crucial role in preventing and reducing fraud.
The Senior Fraud Investigations Analyst will analyze and investigate suspicious transactions, patterns, and behaviors to detect and mitigate fraud in real-time. They will lead complex fraud investigations, develop and implement fraud prevention controls and strategies to minimize risk exposure, monitor fraud detection tools, refine detection rules for optimal accuracy, produce detailed reports on fraud metrics, activity, trends, and preventive measures, liaise with internal departments to ensure alignment on fraud risk management, stay up-to-date with emerging fraud trends and technologies, provide training and mentoring to junior analysts and fraud prevention team members.
About YouYou'll be expected to work cross-functionally with different parts of the organization while maintaining a focus on fraud prevention, being someone who can analyze fraud threats, patterns, and behaviors and mitigate them efficiently. To succeed in this role, you'll need 5+ years of experience in fraud detection, prevention, and investigation, preferably in a financial or e-commerce environment. Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools, methodologies, and technologies is required. Experience with analyzing large data sets and using data analytics tools is also necessary. A strong understanding of the fraud and chargeback card scheme programs, excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail, ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are all essential.
