Job Summary:

The Senior Platform Scrum Master will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of software development at Geologics. This position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in leading cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully implementing Scrum frameworks and driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Agile platform product team as a Scrum Master, ensuring the team's agile cadence is maintained through Scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and PI planning.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps teams to design and implement development and mission solutions.
  • Assist the product owner in backlog grooming and agile Scrum event preparations.
  • Eliminate impediments that may arise to keep the team focused on their objectives.
  • Support transitioning a system tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Active U.S. government TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires a BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Physics.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills to successfully work with various teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gitlab).
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation.
