As a Business Intelligence Administrator, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing our multiple Tableau Online Environments, managing user and group access, and maintaining data catalog and data sources.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and customize Tableau Online Environments
- Manage user and group access, including user accounts, user roles, field/row level security, project content folder rights, groups, and group members
- Maintain data catalog, data sources, and data management activities within Tableau
- Support functional user needs, perform regular compliance reviews, and assist in developing and maintaining documentation on processes, policies, application configuration, and help-related materials
- Manage operational requests, troubleshoot issues, and maintain system metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity
- 1-2 years combined Tableau Administration and Development experience in an enterprise environment
- Tableau Certifications a plus
- 2+ years of SQL experience, writing queries and stored procedures, with an aptitude and desire to learn more
- Basic understanding of BI architecture and ability to cross-train others regarding BI tools
- Project management experience a plus
- Familiarity with IT systems, database design, and data structures
- Experience with ETL/E-LT a plus
- Ability to translate customer/business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience troubleshooting and finding solutions to complex problems
- Ability to communicate ideas and expectations effectively by email, phone, and in person
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience working within a team environment and independently
- Experience thinking through problems creatively
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
