This involves key responsibilities such as organizing footage, performing basic editing tasks, synchronizing audio and video, managing project files, collaborating with teams, reviewing and providing feedback, and ensuring proper sourcing and licensing of video assets.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Editing Software: Knowledge of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
- Attention to Detail: Precision when working on frame-level edits, syncing audio, or making transitions.
- Time Management: Ability to work on tight deadlines and handle multiple projects at once.
- Collaboration Skills: Working well with other post-production team members like sound designers, colorists, and directors.
- Organizational Skills: Efficient handling of large volumes of footage, maintaining structured project files.
- Creative Eye: Ability to spot continuity issues, mismatched cuts, or other elements that impact the video's flow.
