Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize our SIEM system, including integration of data sources, correlation rules, dashboards, reports, and alerts. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the performance, availability, and security of the SIEM system, as well as developing and updating documentation, procedures, and training materials.

In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SIEM & EDR/XDR solutions within the organization, designing, configuring, and managing security tools and technologies to detect and mitigate threats. You will also continuously monitor security systems for anomalies and potential security incidents, initiating response protocols and mitigating threats in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimize the SIEM system, including integration of data sources, correlation rules, dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the performance, availability, and security of the SIEM system.
  • Develop and update the SIEM documentation, procedures, and training materials.
  • Serve as the SME for SIEM & EDR/XDR solutions within the organization.
  • Design, configure, and manage security tools and technologies to detect and mitigate threats, ensuring optimal tuning and integration of SIEM, EDR/XDR technologies.
  • Continuously monitor security systems for anomalies and potential security incidents, initiating response protocols and mitigating threats in real time.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in security, with 1+ year of experience with SIEM and/or EDR/XDR.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SIEM and EDR/XDR technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
