We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Analyst - Financial Control Specialist to join our team at Mondelez International. As a key member of our Accounting and External Reporting (AER) team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements, including U.S. GAAP reporting and statutory financial reporting.
- Classify, examine, and analyze accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform special projects and analyses as assigned, including balance sheet reconciliations, KPIs, fixed assets, restructuring, and intercompany charges.
- Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment, ensuring adherence to Mondelēz International's AER policies and procedures.
- Support audit activities and provide information to auditors as requested.
- Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve efficiency.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting and external reporting, preferably in a transnational company.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
- Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.
- Out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Autonomy and ability to work independently.
- Proactive and achievement-oriented mindset.
