Our goal is to continue our growth trajectory, and we are seeking an experienced Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Job Description

This is a fast-paced role that requires working closely with the delivery team, which includes Business Analysts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Developers. As a Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for testing bots that have reached a completed state or are in various stages of development. This will involve creating test cases and test plans collaboratively with Business Analysts using various testing tools.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience as a QA tester and a technical background, including knowledge of code/software development/Automation frameworks. They should also have mid-advanced level familiarity with backend testing and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review specification documents (User Stories/Test plans/Test cases) and design documents (PDD's/BRD's/Process maps)
  • Familiarity with backend testing (major part of the role) using various tools to test backend DB's, API's etc.
  • Be familiar with User story and documentation structure
  • Creating Test cases, Test plans, User stories and bug tickets when needed
  • Review and maintain test plans and test cases with the aid of developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers
  • Create regression tests, load tests and stress tests as well as execution
  • Keep automation of your test cases at the forefront of the product to help streamline testing later.
  • Report, manage and track bugs in our applications and prioritize through the use of Jira

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a QA tester
  • Technical background is a must – have knowledge of code/software development/Automation frameworks, including Frontend and backend testing
  • Mid-advanced level familiarity with backend testing and tools
  • Familiarity with testing methodology e.g. Test cases, Test plans, Regression testing, Smoke testing, Sanity testing, end to end testing
  • Experience using Jira/Azure devops or the like
