Job Description
We're seeking a visionary Social Media Manager who can take our brand presence to the next level by creating viral content, driving engagement, and building a powerful community. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing proprietary content frameworks that consistently outperform industry benchmarks, creating a unique social voice that makes SharpStakes instantly recognizable, and establishing us as a leader in the sports betting content space.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage a dynamic content calendar tailored for a Gen Z audience
- Produce engaging, platform-optimized content that resonates with the sports betting community
- Grow follower base and engagement metrics, turning casual viewers into loyal SharpStakes fans
- Monitor, track, and respond to audience interactions to foster an engaged, active community
- Analyze social performance metrics, leveraging insights to optimize content strategy
- Identify and capitalize on emerging social media trends before they go mainstream
- Collaborate with SharpStakes ambassadors and influencers to produce high-performing content
- Manage community engagement, ensuring followers feel connected and valued
- Align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives, amplifying brand impact
- Maintain a bold, consistent, and recognizable brand voice
- Monitor competitors' social presence to identify opportunities and threats
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need proven success in growing social media accounts for a Gen Z audience, a deep understanding of the sports betting content landscape, and experience creating highly engaging, shareable content across all major platforms.
You should also possess strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills, ability to analyze data and optimize social strategies based on performance metrics, in-depth knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices, proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social), experience running and optimizing paid social campaigns, community management and audience engagement expertise, awareness of sports betting regulations and compliance in social media marketing, basic video editing and graphic design skills, experience creating viral content that breaks through the noise, and ability to handle reputation management and social media crises effectively.
