Medispa Physician

The Medispa Physician is a key member of the OneSpaWorld LLC team, responsible for administering cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. This role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

1. Administer cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests, ensuring a safe and effective experience.
2. Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding products and services, including explanations of treatment options and aftercare instructions.
3. Work closely with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant to promote spa services and products, and to ensure seamless delivery of services.
4. Review and approve all service/treatment plans organized and booked by the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.
5. Conduct patient follow-up as required, and maintain accurate medical records.
6. Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the spa and guests.
7. Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product/supplies to assist with cost control.
8. Follow service pricing policy set by OneSpaWorld LLC.
9. Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by ship and company policy and procedure.
10. Manage medical product and supply inventory.
11. Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
12. Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
13. Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
15. Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
16. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
17. Train new spa staff in medi-spa services/cross-promotion skills – follow up must be carried out to ensure staff are confident with services and promotions.
18. Follow Medi-Spa Operations Policies.
19. Email report daily and inventory report with every end of cruise report.

1. Possess the ability to work without direct supervision and actively promote the services to the guests.
2. Work closely with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.
3. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
4. Must be able to give an effective presentation as it relates to medi-spa services.
5. Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
6. Excellent communication and listening skills.
7. Basic computer knowledge.
8. Must be a team player.

1. Be familiar with OneSpaWorld LLC's 'GPS' to safety.
2. Understand and practice the required self-screening procedures.
3. Understand and follow the agreed-upon procedures for symptomatic guests or employees.
4. Understand and adhere to staff and guest Physical Distancing Policy.
5. Understand and adhere to Staff Personal Hygiene Policy.
6. Understand and adhere to the Hand Washing Policy.
7. Arrive at the spa between five and ten minutes prior to assigned shift start time.
8. Understand proper use and disposal of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the modality and for handling soiled linen, waste, and chemicals.
9. Be familiar with the approved disinfecting products available at the spa location including proper use, contact time, disinfection methods and proper storage and handling procedures.
10. Understand and adhere to the Treatment Room Preparation requirements.
11. Understand and adhere to the Sanitation Policy for the applicable modality and services performed.
12. Understand and adhere to the Sanitation Policy for the applicable spa area.
13. Understand the Sanitation Log Policy and complete logs as required.
14. Understand and adhere to the Retail Product Handling and Transferring Procedure.
15. Understand and adhere to the Product Sampling Procedure.
